There is a file, 1XConfig.exe in c:\windows\system32 directory. In the description it said, this file is for 802.1x. How is this file relative to 802.1x authentication? Is possible to use 1XConfig.exe instead of clicking the balloon for entering username and password?.." This would make sense as well. In any case, folks on the 'Net are so quick to post results of tests such as HiJack This, that if this was more than an innocuous program, there would be much more information to be found. It is not even listed on the following page that lists stratup programs and defines those that can cause problems.
